In the new Dominy Shops Museum, you can learn how the site was restored and reconstructed on the original location where three generations of East Hampton’s most acclaimed woodworkers and craftsmen made everything from cradles to coffins in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The current exhibition, Made to Order: The Dominy Craftsmen and their Customers tells the stories of the variety of local residents who commissioned clocks, furniture, and tools from the Dominys.
