East Hampton Town Marine Museum

301 Bluff Road
Amagansett, NY

Built as naval barracks during WWII, the East Hampton Town Marine Museum has hosted exhibitions and programs since the 1960s that tell the unique story of the East Hampton Town community and its relationship with the sea.

This summer, the Marine Museum will remain closed as the Town of East Hampton and the East Hampton Historical Society begin a comprehensive, multi-year renovation following significant winter damage caused by a burst pipe this past winter. The project will include major building upgrades, restoration work, and updated exhibitions to help preserve and share East Hampton Town’s maritime history for future generations. For more information or to find out how you can get involved with the effort, please contact Steve Long at 631.324.6850, x2 or email info@easthamptonhistory.org.
