DESCRIPTION:Attended by leaders in architectural\, interior\, and landscape design\, the Antiques & Design Show is the region’s premier showcase of antiques and decorative arts for the home and garden. Special thanks to Tom Scheerer for serving as this year’s Honorary Chair. \nTaking place on Historic Mulford Farm\, the festivities kick off with a Preview Cocktail Party on Friday July 10\, 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM. The show’s hours are 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday\, July 11 and 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Sunday\, July 12. \nBENEFACTOR (8 tickets to the cocktail party and show)  $5\,000 \n\nSUSTAINER (6 tickets to the cocktail party and show)  $2\,500 \n\nPATRON (4 tickets to the cocktail party and show)  $1\,200 \n\nSUPPORTER (2 tickets to the cocktail party and show)  $600 \n\nDONOR (1 individual ticket to the cocktail party and show)  $275 \nRegister as a Show Sponsor by June 30 by purchasing one of the packages above and you’ll be recognized in the printed event program. Show Sponsors have the opportunity to attend the Preview Party and shop the Show before the general public. \nTickets are also available for Saturday or Sunday – $18 \nSave by purchasing tickets in advance.

DESCRIPTION:You’re invited to a special presentation by Sean Decatur\, President of the American Museum of Natural History\, entitled Bringing the ‘Monster’ to Manhattan: The Amagansett Whale\, Roy Chapman Andrews\, and the American Museum of Natural History. \nIn 1907\, the largest North Atlantic Right Whale ever recorded was hunted and “tried out” in Amagansett. Sean Decatur explains what happened next when Roy Chapman Andrews\, one of the luminaries of the American Natural History Museum. appeared on the beach in Amagansett. \nTaking place at Clinton Academy\, 151 Main Street in East Hampton\, the presentation is free of charge with a reception to follow. \nReservations are strongly suggested.

SUMMARY:Watercolor Painting in the Moran Garden
DESCRIPTION:Open to beginners and experienced watercolorists\, this immersive workshop led by artist Janet Jennings invites participants to explore the historic gardens of Thomas Moran and Mary Nimmo Moran through observation\, painting\, and creative interpretation. \nWorking on site\, students will build watercolor skills that combine structure with spontaneity. Instruction covers color mixing\, composition\, drawing\, washes\, layering\, expressive brushwork\, and fine detail\, while encouraging a looser\, more personal response to painting from nature. Participants will also learn to observe shifting light\, atmospheric color\, and the rhythm of the garden to create evocative watercolor studies. \nMeet at the Thomas and Mary Nimmo Moran Home & Studio\, 229 Main Street in East Hampton \nThe cost of this two-hour class is $100 plus costs of materials.
