DESCRIPTION:Driving along Main Street in East Hampton\, it can be easy to miss the Village’s beauty and rich history. During this tour presented by the East Hampton Trails Preservation Society\, visitors will walk up and down Main Street and discuss some of dozens and dozens of buildings that make up the Historic District. To help serve as a guide\, visitors will receive the East Hampton Historic District Walking Tour pamphlet\, which was written by Bob Hefner and Richard Barons. \nMeet at 10:00 AM at the Lumber Lane long term parking lot 2 in East Hampton. \nTo attend\, please RSVP to Irwin Levy at irwintlevy@gmail.com.

SUMMARY:"Artists in Residence" - Historic Artists' Home & Studios of the East End
DESCRIPTION:Summer exhibition at Clinton Academy! Featuring original artworks and artifacts from some of America’s most acclaimed artists\, including Mabel & Victor D’Amico\, Robert Dash\, Elaine de Kooning\, Lee Krasner\, Jack Lenor Larsen\, John Little\, Thomas & Mary Nimmo Moran and Jackson Pollock\, Artists in Residence explores how East Hampton became one of America’s preeminent arts colonies. The exhibit describes what drew the artists to the East End\, their connection to the local landscape\, and its influence on their practice. Plus\, visitors can discover how to visit these historic homes and studios today. \nOn display in Clinton Academy at 151 Main Street in East Hampton\, the exhibit text is accessible in both Spanish and English.
